Jesus in India?

With the creation of a new movie, there is increased interest in the old tale that Jesus Christ traveled to India, where he lived to a ripe old age.

While this story may be fascinating, when examined scientifically it fails to hold water. This legend has been spread in recent years largely by an Islamic sect that wishes to claim the hereditary inheritance of the famed Jewish godman.

For more information about this story, as well as the equally implausible tale about Jesus having been in Great Britain, see my essay:

Jesus in India? The Myth of the Lost Years

As has been demonstrated repeatedly in scientific and scholarly books on the subject, the character called "Jesus Christ" is a mythical entity based on other mythical figures dating back into the hoary mists of time.

The fact of Christianity essentially representing a contrived rehash of sun worship is clearly shown in my latest book Christ in Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection.

The "lost years" of Jesus are in fact atrotheological, representing part of solar mythology. In the story of the sun god, the solar hero is a "child teacher" at the "age" of 12 noon, when he reaches the "temple" of his "father" - Re or Ra in the Egyptian myth. When the sun transits from one month of the 360-day year or 1/12th or the zodiacal circle, he attains the age of 28 or 30. And here was have the 18 "lost years."

Fortunately, there are those who have actually studied the subject, read my work and who realize that by denying the facts presented therein we are robbing the world of the real history of religious ideology and mythology.

The Muslim World Throws a FITNA - Again

Once again, the Muslim world has gone into a state of apoplexy and thrown a fit, or FITNA, as the case may be. What else is new?

For those who haven't heard, "FITNA" is a movie by Dutch politician Geert Wilders exposing the connection between the Islamic holy text the Koran/Quran and the violence found abundantly in the Muslim world for the past 1,400 years or so.

This movie - which, we are constantly reminded, no one has ever seen - is so powerful, apparently, that the entire Muslim religion will be destroyed by it in a heartbeat. At least, that's the impression given by the incredible frantic knee-jerk reaction that had the unprecedented affect of shutting down the film's website before anything of substance was even posted there!

Because of "complaints," the registrar of Wilders's domain fitnathemovie.com, Network Solutions, has "temporarily suspended" the account, which means the film cannot be posted there. This censorship situation occurred precisely at the point when Wilders claimed he would release the film. Here is a screenshot of the site with the notice from Network Solutions:
When we go to the site to see what could possibly be so egregious as to cause such aggressive behavior, we are faced with a "Acceptable Use Policy" that prohibits the following:

"...material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, constitutes an illegal threat, violates export control laws, hate propaganda, fraudulent material or fraudulent activity, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature."

We would wager that Network Solutions is investigating "FITNA" under "hate propaganda," an ironic situation in consideration of the fact that this movie is allegedly basically just a recitation of the KORAN - indeed, that it is apparently making the case that the KORAN itself constitutes "hate propaganda." How else are we to interpret a text - the KORAN - that repeatedly calls for the deaths and/or punishment of non-believers and that has been followed to such ends as to lead to the deaths and/or punishment of hundreds of millions of people?

Here are just a few of the attacks on "infidels" in the Koran - "scriptures" that have unquestionably been used over the centuries to slaughter unbelievers of all manner - and that is precisely what "FITNA" was supposedly designed to demonstrate to the world.
(Translation by N.J. Dawood: The Koran: With a Parallel Arabic Text, Penguin Classics, 1991)

This Book is not to be doubted.... As for the unbelievers, it is the same whether or not you forewarn them; they will not have faith. God has set a seal upon their hearts and ears; their sight is dimmed and grievous punishment awaits them. --Q 2:1-2:6-2:10; "The Cow," Dawood, pp. 1-2.

The only true faith in God's sight is Islam. --Q 3:19; "The Imrans," Dawood, p. 51.

He that chooses a religion over Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the world to come he will be one of the lost. --Q 3:85, "The Imrans," Dawood, p. 60.

God's curse be upon the infidels! Evil is that for which they have bartered away their souls. To deny God's own revelation, grudging that He should reveal His bounty to whom He chooses from among His servants! They have incurred God's most inexorable wrath. An ignominious punishment awaits the unbelievers. --Q 2:89-2:90, "The Cow," Dawood, p. 13.

Fight for the sake of God those that fight against you, but do not attack them first. God does not love the aggressors.

Slay them wherever you find them. Drive them out of the places from which they drove you. Idolatry is worse than carnage.... --Q 2:190-2:191, "The Cow," Dawood, p. 28.

[Note that within Islam, many things can and are interpreted to be "aggression," such that the death penalty is freely handed out.]

When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them.... --Q 9:5; "Repentance," Dawood, p. 186.

Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate. --Q 9:73, "Repentance," Dawood, p. 198.

Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and forsake them in beds apart, and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is high, supreme. --Q 4:34, "Women," Dawood, p. 83.
If these quotes from the Koran do not constitute HATE PROPAGANDA, then what does? According to Network Solutions, a 10 or 15-minute film that exposes such attacks on infidels (and women) does represent "hate propaganda!" In other words, with their disgraceful behavior, Network Solutions is preventing millions of people from their "God-given" right to know what is in the Koran and how it has been used to conquer and "slay idolaters" around the world.

And in the meantime, Network Solutions has no problem, apparently, serving as the registrar of the violent terrorist organization Hizbollah, the "Army of God!" So much for the "ethics" of Network Solutions. Note that the "WHOIS" information for hizbollah.org has now been CENSORED to omit the fact that it is Network Solutions who is the registrar! The "WHOIS" information specifically naming Network Solutions as the registrar for hizbollah.org has now been replaced with:
WHOIS LIMIT EXCEEDED - SEE WWW.PIR.ORG/WHOIS FOR DETAILS
When we go to www.pir.org/whois for details, we see:

Registrant Organization: Hizbollah
Registrant Street2: care of Network Solutions
Registrant Street3:
Registrant City: Herndon
Registrant State/Province: VA
Registrant Postal Code: 20172
Registrant Country: US
Registrant Phone: +1.570708878

Needless to say, the behavior of Network Solutions is cowardly and unethical - but it has brought so much more attention to Wilders's film that, should he ever release it, millions more now know about it and will likely clamor to see this "forbidden fruit." And let us hope for the sake of freedom of speech, democracy and, indeed, freedom in general, that Wilders does manage to release his film. We know that there are millions of people anxiously standing by waiting to see it, undoubtedly many of the Muslims themselves who would like to know what could be so bad in their Koran that a film about it needs to be censored - and its filmmaker needs to be under constant guard because of all the death threats he has received, falling right in line with what he is exposing in this film.

In reality, Geert Wilders has already proved his point, as he cannot even walk outside freely simply because he dared criticize a book that, as demonstrated above, clearly has as one of its agendas global hegemony and the slaughter of nonbelievers.

If the film really exists - and Wilders insists that it does - Wilders has a number of options here, including, as he has suggested, "passing out DVDs on the Dam," but also bit torrents, as well as simply providing his film to the many other websites and outlets that have expressed their willingness to host it. We can only hope that this film will be widely distributed, as it is obviously vitally important for the freedom of the entire world. We could even imagine the Vatican hosting it on its website - who will stop the Vatican?

Here's the trailer for FITNA - watch it fast while it's still on YouTube! (It's short but a bit gruesome.)

ZEITGEIST Day - March 15, 2008

Have you heard about "Z Day?" Peter Joseph, the maker of the hit internet movie phenomenon ZEITGEIST, has set up March 15, 2008 as "ZEITGEIST Day," encouraging the showing of the film all over the world at that time.

So far, the response has been overwhelming. Peter has created a page at his site with hundreds of showings globally - and the list is not yet complete! In fact, he can't keep up with the requests, which he tells me are coming in at 150 per day!

ZEITGEIST Day Events List

When Peter sent me an email a couple of months ago asking whether or not he should create "ZEITGEIST Day," I immediately answered with an emphatic "YES!" He wondered if this phenomenon would still have steam... As we can see, this train is mindbogglingly still on track, receiving tens of thousands of hits per day, and that's just in English! ZEITGEIST has now been translated into several other languages as well.

One of the more popular languages ZEITGEIST has been translated into is German. There is currently someone also working on translating into German my ebook The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1. And speaking of which, Peter just passed me a neat little comment on the Companion Guide, which I've posted at my site as well:
"This work helps lift the veil of suppression in regard to the truth behind the Christian religion and its Egyptian origins."

"Our appreciation should now evolve to the understanding of the mythical developments of the ancient world and their metaphoric foundations; not with the establishment dogma, which exists as a perversion of the original knowledge and poetry."

Peter Joseph
Creator, "Zeitgeist, The Movie"
If you haven't seen the movie with a group of people, I highly encourage you to participate in some way on "ZEITGEIST Day." I have now watched it a couple of times with a significant amount of people, once in Hollywood with Peter and 650 other people at the Artivist Film Festival, where it won "Best Feature" award - it was an incredible experience. I am aware that there are those who would disagree with parts of ZEITGEIST, some with Part 1, others with Parts 2 and 3, but artistically speaking, the collective experience was extremely moving. (And I do nonetheless consider it a brilliant work and certainly reflective of the "spirit of the times.")

After another public showing of ZEITGEIST at which I also spoke, I had a delightful conversation with some sweet young folks who are so moved by the film that I nicknamed them the "Z GENERATION." We all joked that it was perfect, because we've had Generation X, but those who have followed have not really had a moniker - this one constitutes the end of the line, the Omega of the "Alpha and the Omega."

Truly, we are witnessing the birth of a phenomenon that could be called "The ZEITGEIST Generation" or "The Z Generation." You heard it here first.

(For those who are interested in Part 1 about religious parallels, you may, of course, refer to my books The Christ Conspiracy, Suns of God and Who Was Jesus?. A more pointed scientific examination of some of these contentions can be found in my ebook The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1. I am also currently writing a larger work exploring all of the Egyptian themes of the first part of the movie, to be published as a paperback within the coming months.)

ZEITGEIST Companion Guide Review

A member of the TBK Nation forum has posted the following review of my ebook The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1.
"Tat Tvam Asi" writes:

The Zeitgeist part 1 E-Book is a tough work for anyone to come along and try to dispute.

In [other forums], several people expressed the idea that Christianity isn't a mimic of the Egyptian religion at all.

I don't think that they could read through the Companion Guide and still hold such an uninformed opinion. That's the opinion of people who have had somewhere between little to no contact whatsoever with the Egyptian religion.

Anyone who reads through the entirety of the Zeitgeist Companion Guide will be armed with a powerful tool of debate towards addressing all modern Judeo-Christian-Islamic religious fundamentalism. Wink

As far as I'm concerned this is the way to the future. Religious fundamentalism will become exposed for its fallacies beyond any reasonable doubt and we will start to see a new 'world view' come into fruition.

It's just a matter of time and positive thinking. Cool

Rense, Zeitgeist Nod to Acharya S

Just thought I'd steer your attention to the nod I recently received on the Jeff Rense radio show by both Rense and Peter J., who created the movie Zeitgeist.

Zeitgeist features my work significantly at several points and in the overall thesis of the first part regarding the astrotheological origins of religion. Peter J. has read both my books The Christ Conspiracy and Suns of God - readers of my work will recognize the parts in the Zeitgeist movie that reflect the thesis I have expounded upon in those tomes and elsewhere. In fact, I consulted with Peter J. shortly before the final cut was released. It should be noted that I was involved in only Part 1 and take no responsibility for any of the rest of the material in the movie; nor do I necessarily concur with any or all of it - but that is the subject for another blog.

Interested parties may wish to hear the following radio clip from the Rense show of August 8, 2007, during which Rense comments that credit should be given where due for this thesis, which he heard about from me over a decade ago. In fact, after having been online for a couple of years, starting in 1995, I appeared on the Jeff Rense show - my first radio program - in 1997. I felt it was a great success, and would have enjoyed repeat shows.

In the meantime, I continue to work on the hard-copy edition of my book Who Was Jesus? This book is over 300 pages long now - more than I had anticipated. I also have a new subtitle that some may find intriguing, but I think I'll hold that as a surprise. When this edition of WWJ is done, I will be offering it for a limited time as an ebook, only until the hard-copy is actually out...

Now, if you feel so inclined, I'm sure that Jeff Rense would not mind hearing from you about how you'd like to have ME on his show! Going straight to the horse's mouth, so to speak, although I'd like not to be compared with a horse...
