Solstice Day Song

Happy Winter Solstice Day songHere's a little song I've put together for this special time of the year!

Seasons Greetings and Happy Solstice!

Solstice Day Song

From the album:

"How the Christians Stole Solstice" :)

(P.S. I tried to put this song into a player, but it wasn't working. Your computer will probably bring up a player automatically - enjoy!)

Lyrics

A long time ago in Egypt,
So the ancient texts do say,
Isis's boy-child, Horus,
Was born on Solstice Day

Hark now hear the Pagans sing,
A new sun born today
And people will live forever more
Because of Solstice Day

Islam enslaves women, period.

My latest article at Faith Freedom. A must-read for all women and all those who love women!

Islam enslaves women, period.

It is a common fallacy spread by Muslim apologists and dhimmi mouthpieces that "Islam is a great for women." One time, I was almost physically attacked by a "cool" New Ager type who told me he was reading the Koran/Quran, followed quickly by the off-the-cuff-remark, "Islam is great for women."

The comment was so out of left field that it smacked of, "Me thinks thou doth protest too much." Why would he need to make such a declaration, unless he knew that there was a debate as to whether or not Islam was "great for women?" He obviously knew many had claimed the opposite, that is Islam is bad for women. At that moment - being a woman - I asserted the opposite as well, at which point he became quite angry, completely losing his holier-than-thou enlightenment. Apparently, my womanly opinion was not appreciated....

Winter Solstice: The REAL 'Reason for the Season'

Hi there -

Just a little holiday cheer in advance of the coming winter solstice celebration! Actually, if you have my Astrotheology Calendar, you know that we are already in the midst of several ancient winter-solstice festivities, including Brumalia, the Mysteries of Osiris and the Halcyon Days of Greece. In fact, December is chock-a-block full of celebrations largely revolving around the triumphal return of the sun after its long journey towards the darkness of winter.

Which reminds me of my infamous article...

"The Christmas Hoax: Jesus is NOT the "Reason for the Season"
http://www.stellarhousepublishing.com/christmas.html

Three years ago, this article went a bit viral and garnered tens of thousands of views. Also included in this link are two videos, one of which is a lengthy winter-solstice interview with "Infidel Guy" - check it out!

Most of all, as you will see from my Calendar, rather than belonging to one culture, religion or ethnicity, this celebration is universal, found in the month of December in cultures from Japan to North America!

In this regard, I truly believe that the fascinating knowledge of the astrotheology of the ancients would go a long way in uniting humanity beyond its divisive religious beliefs.

May you have a happy and sustained holiday season wherever you are!

Enjoy!

The "Historical" Buddha?

See my latest article

The "Historical" Buddha?

There is much confusion as to the identity of "the Buddha," the main figure of the Eastern religion of Buddhism. First of all, there are different forms of Buddhism, including the two main branches of Theravada and Mahayana, in the latter of which we find the familiar Zen and Tibetan traditions, among others. Secondly, as we shall see in this excerpt from my book Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled, there have also been many different Buddhas, including the figure also known as Siddhartha Gautama and Sakyamuni, who is frequently considered a "historical" personage. In this excerpt we shall see many reasons to doubt the tradition of historicity for "the Buddha." Indeed, all factors combined, the evidence points to Buddha as a mythical, not historical, figure.

The Buddhist 'crucifixion'

In my forum, I have posted some fascinating information concerning the crucifixion/impalement of a Buddhist figure as depicted in ancient texts. I related this episode in my "Origins" article, which I have updated with some more clarifying material.

The Buddhist "crucifixion"

Of particular interest is the last post I made on page 3.

Please be aware that I post much of my ongoing research to the Freethought Nation forums, so come on in!
