The U.S. Constitution: A Truly Sacred Scripture
The U.S. Constitution: A Truly Sacred Scripture
Here is an oldie-but-goodie blog post I'm recirculating...
The American Constitution may well be the "holiest of holies." It is not "infallible," nor does it address religion specifically, except for this particularly pithy amendment that is not only wholly relevant but also holy in its implications for securing liberty from religious imposition of all kinds.

The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Christ Conspiracy
The Greatest Story Ever Sold: The Christ Conspiracy
Here is a radio show about my book...
In her various books, Acharya describes the New Testament as a work of mythic fiction within a historical setting. She claims that the story of Jesus Christ is a retelling of various pagan myths, representing "astrotheology," or the story of the Sun, and also incorporates the science of archaeoastronomy. She asserts the pagans understood the stories to be myths, but Christians obliterated evidence to the contrary by destroying and controlling literature when they attained control of the Roman Empire, which led to widespread illiteracy in the ancient world, ensuring the mythical nature of Christ's story was hidden.

Jesus, Son of Joseph, and Horus, Son of Seb
Is the earthly father of Jesus, Joseph, a remake of the earthly father of the Egyptian god Horus, Seb?

Was Jesus God, Man or Myth?
Was Jesus God, Man or Myth?
Contrary to popular belief, the idea that Jesus Christ is a mythical character is not new: In fact, the questioning and doubting of the gospel tale started at the beginning of the Christian era and has been continued by thousands, if not millions, since then.

'Man Made God' by Barbara G. Walker
Yay! It's finally here!
Man Made God
Extraordinary independent scholar of comparative religion and mythology Barbara G. Walker takes us through a riveting journey back in time to when the Goddess and her consort/son ruled supreme, into the era when the patriarchy usurped Her worship, right up to Barbara's own personal experience being raised a Christian.

Source of Bible Covenant with God discovered?
Archaeologists working in Turkey have unearthed an Assyrian tablet dating to around 670 BCE that "could have served as a model for the biblical description of God's covenant with the Israelites."

Did Buddha exist? | Was there a historical Buddha?
Did Buddha exist? | Was there a historical Buddha?
There is much confusion as to the identity of "the Buddha," the main figure of the Eastern religion of Buddhism. First of all, there are different forms of Buddhism, including the two main branches of Theravada and Mahayana, in the latter of which we find the familiar Zen and Tibetan traditions, among others.

The Josephus Forgery about Jesus
The Jesus Forgery: Josephus Untangled
An oldie but goodie of mine...
For centuries a brief paragraph in "Antiquities of the Jews" by the Jewish historian Josephus (37-100 CE) has been cited as proof of the existence of Jesus Christ. Is it really? Or is it a forgery?

Islamic conquest of India
Islamic conquest of India
The history of Islam in India is absolutely sickening - and it's completely heinous that this history has been excised from Indian textbooks. Talk about appeasing violent criminals!
