Allah the Pagan Moon God
Freethought Nation • View topic - Allah the Pagan Moon God
"Late Islamic masculinization of the Arabian Goddess, Al-Lat or Al-Ilat - the Allatu of the Babylonians - formerly worshipped at the Kaaba in Mecca. It has been shown that 'the Allah of Islam' was a male transformation of 'the primitive lunar deity of Arabia.' Her ancient symbol the crescent moon still appears on Islamic flags, even though modern Moslems no longer admit any feminine symbolism whatever connected with the wholly patriarchal Allah."

Some pertinent comments from Bharat i.e. the old name for India:
1. NATH i.e. Lord Shiva the moon god was worshipped all over as one deity. The Shiv ling in the Kaaba was broken by mohammed and his loonie soldiers and this big broken granite stone can be yet found in the present kaaba bound by some metallic bands. Nath has been pronounced as Lath and Al-Nath has been transformed into Al-Lah.
2.Arabia was in fact ARAVASTAN or the land of horses(in sanskrit Arava means horse. In India we yet have a range of mountains in the western border with pakistan which is called the ARAVALLI mountain range.
Very interesting information that I will have to keep in mind. Thank you.
